Get Lucky!

Posted December 12th, 2010 by Miss Mediocre

I think I’d mentioned on here before that I had been shopping around for a new server since I’ve been playing mostly alone on my main Alliance server for the last year, and it was getting lonely! Cataclysm has been great for soloing however, and a few of my friends have actually come back to the game. It’s also a lot harder to leave 8 level 80 characters and 100k gold behind than I’d anticipated, so I’ve decided to stick it out on Terenas for a while longer. So far it’s been great!

About three years ago, a few of us got together and created what we’d hoped would be a raiding guild. It turns out that it was still kicking around on an alt, so myself and a few others have re-joined it and are working to rank it up. I think it will go over a lot better than the last guild I attempted to resurrect on the server because it has a less gender specific name and guild tabard! A lot of people just weren’t comfortable being Pink Fluffy Kittens for some reason… lol.

The reason I’m posting about my new guild  on here is because of the amount of feedback I got from my “Dear Vanilla, I Miss You” post. I know there’s a lot of people out there looking to get back some of that Vanilla Community that had been lost over the last few expansions, myself included! I’m hoping a few of you might like to join us in our new guild, Luck. I’m not suggesting you transfer your main to my server right away or anything, but if you’re interested, make yourself an alt to join with, and see if you like it! We’ll be leveling, PvPing, and running dungeons as a group as we work together to level the guild and get some of the awesome guild rewards!

If you’d like to join us, you can message myself (Lauriella, Sacralicious or Missmediocre) or Salom the guild master in game for an invite! We’re on the Alliance on the Terenas US server and would love to have you!

awww, I wish I played US servers! I’d come say hello in a heartbeat :) good luck & I hope it all goes well for you. We’ve found slow & steady is a good recruitment motto, just 1 or maybe 2 people at a time – get to know them, get them into the team mind set ( or they hate it and leave ofc!) and give them time to settle down before inviting the next one or two. We’re upto about 25 accounts now & so far only 2 people have left – one the next day & one after about 3 days so hopefully, we’re on the right track :)

Nevyn : I’ll give the slow and steady recruitment motto a go! I usually just go crazy inviting as many people as I can, and then I don’t really get a chance to get to know any of them, and a lot of them leave. Recruitment has been slow so far because I’ve been busy with my own Cataclysm questing and Archaeology, but it’s been good, so I’ll try to keep it at this pace.

Truely sucks to be from Europe, otherwise i would have come with my Warlock, since my current guild is no more.
An all Danish guild, who would have though a 5 mil populated country wouldn’t have enough players for a high end raid guild? 😛

Ramund : The guild has actually been pretty quiet lately. Our GM left to join a raid guild, so now I am GM, lol. A few of us are still on all the time, and occasionally we all level alts together, which is SO much fun, but we don’t have the numbers for full guild heroics, which is what I’d wanted. We have gotten the guild to level 3 though! 😀
