Happy Noblegarden

I haven’t been playing much in the last couple of weeks but I logged onto WoW quickly tonight to check out the changes they made to the Noblegarden event. I noticed they added a new mount, the Swift Springstrider for 500 eggs and two new colours of bunny ears, pink and black, each for 50 eggs. I wasn’t sure I was up to farming 500 eggs for the mount, but figured I’d give it a shot. It actually only took me an hour and a half to get 500 eggs in Azure Watch. I got enough for 2 mounts, a Polymorph Rabbit Tome, and a pair of the black ears before I got bored of it. I found an extra mount in one of the eggs as well as about 10 of the Spring Rabbit pets. I’m attempting to sell the extra mounts for 2700g, which is less than anyone else on my server right now. Hopefully they sell and if so the mount I kept and the gold definitely make all my egg grinding worth it!

Anyway I just thought I’d post quickly about it in case anyone was thinking they maybe wanted the mount but thought it would take too long to farm for. The eggs respawn super fast and the chance of one dropping from an egg helps to keep it interesting. Best of luck and Happy Noblegarden!

Rivs : Thanks! I don’t know if I have it in me to start over as a lowbie somewhere new, but I’ll give it a try! If I can get to 20 without pulling my hair out I’ll join you! Horde side??

lol i always judge guilds by the name….u can tell what kinda personality the gm has and the seriousness of the guild based on the name…lol some people go all crazy having u submit applications, provide weekly contributions as if they are the sheriff of nottingham and what not, and some are too lax to where to lacks the focus and leadership to raid and gather people for cheevos… but then u find those sweet spots in the middle and a good guild like that is like the heaven of azeroth =p makes the game 100x more enjoyable… my guilds name Oo Body Shots oO tiny and fresh but band o brothers… n sister are tight, committed, and happy… =D

    Hey there MM,
After a recent twinge of nostalgia I was visiting WOWHead to see how the game had changed and noticed an old post of yours which lead me to your blog. Initially I wasn’t expecting much, but after reading a few of your posts I’ve got to say that I like your writing style in a way that I could read with interest about an old game that I’d quit, and a few others I’d never played before. After going back as far with your experiences with Skyrim you’ve inspired me to give the game another shot, when I’d originally given up a few days after starting.

Anyhow, keep up the good work, I hope to see more from you in the future. 🙂

Dustin : Is your guild Horde or Alliance? Either way, I’d not allow Worgen or Tauren in a guild called Body Shots… Too fuzzy! I totally agree though, I was never more into WoW than when I was in sweet guild filled with my buddies just all doing random stuff together having a blast! I miss those days!

MOTE : Thanks so much! That’s so nice of you to say! 😀 It’s awesome that you’re going to give Skyrim another shot. It really is a fantastic game with (what I thought) was a really interesting story! I can’t wait for the MMO! Let me know if you do enjoy it more this time around!

It’s nothing, really. I liked what I read and it never hurts to give a little positive feedback. 🙂

Starting again fresh this time I’ve chosen an Orc warrior using sword and board. Although I’m still early into the story so far it’s been a blast. At first I had to set aside my latent kleptomania and need to pick up every cabbage or block of cheese, but after a while I found myself getting drawn into the minor quests and adventuring through new dungeons. I think part of what killed the game for me initially was just how much there is to do and see, though if I can keep up the current pace I may just be able to see it to the end!

This post isn’t very Noblegarden related though, so now seems like a good time to vanish. Cheers!
